VIOLET
Unique Violet Ametrine of Joiel’s Palace
Violet is looking for her perfect home
Captured by Gijs de Waard
Violet knows exactly what she wants. She is a self-assured, clever young Siberian Husky female with a pronounced, typical breed character. She likes to think for herself, finds her own solutions and wants to understand why she should do something. When she is convinced of a task, she throws herself into it completely.
Violet would like it best if something was always going on. She loves being out and about, romping, playing in the water and digging to her heart’s content. She also loves car rides and visitors. She is curious, active and full of joie de vivre, but she also brings the typical exuberance of her young age.
We are not looking for just any home for Violet, but exactly the people who suit her. Until we have found them, she will of course stay with us.
Because Violet likes to be in the middle of things and enjoys being kept busy, we would like a home for her where she gets more individual attention and can live out her curiosity, intelligence and energy. That is why we are looking for people with whom she will find exactly that.

Her character: clever, independent and full of energy
Violet is not a dog who simply carries out commands. She wants to think along and sometimes finds solutions you would never have come up with yourself. That is exactly what makes her so exciting, but it also calls for people who appreciate her intelligence and enjoy working together with her.
Sometimes her enthusiasm is still quicker than her thinking. At her young age she brings plenty of energy and drive.
Whether out in nature, romping with other dogs or taking in new impressions, Violet likes to be right in the middle of it. Snow, water, digging and car rides are among the things that give her pleasure. She also gladly welcomes visitors.
What Violet already knows
In everyday life Violet is already familiar with various situations and brings a good foundation for her new life.
- She is house-trained.
- She knows car rides.
- She knows town life, various noises and visitors.
- She knows various commands.
However, her recall is not yet reliable enough to allow her safe off-lead running. Whether she will one day be able to run without a lead therefore cannot be promised.
Violet has hardly had to learn to be left alone so far, as she is always surrounded by her pack here. In her new home this should therefore be built up gently and step by step.
The right home for Violet
Violet needs people who enjoy an intelligent, independently thinking Husky and do not expect her simply to function. She should be encouraged, understood and kept busy in a way that suits her age. Anyone who sees her independence as a challenge will probably be less happy with her. Anyone who, on the other hand, likes working with a dog and can smile at creative ideas will have a lot of joy with her.
What we wish for Violet:
- Husky experience: People who know the special characteristics and needs of this breed.
- Understanding and patience: People who nurture her intelligence and work with her consistently, fairly and with joy.
- A suitable environment: Children of school age and older are welcome. Because of her boisterous and sometimes still thoughtless nature, however, she should not be left unsupervised with small children or small animals.
- Canine company: A home with or without a second dog is possible. What matters is that the overall situation suits Violet.
- Exercise and activity: She needs variety and tasks that suit her age. As she is still growing, strain and activity must be adjusted to her age.
- A suitable daily life: Whether it is a flat or a house is secondary. What matters is that her needs are taken into account and that she is truly allowed to arrive in her new home.
We also place Violet beyond the Swiss borders if we are convinced that she will find the right home there.
Our wish is not to give Violet away as quickly as possible. We want to find the people with whom she can be happy in the long term and who will enjoy her as much as we enjoy her special personality.
